Dating back to at least 1880, this three-family Victorian home has been restored inside and out to make way for its new role as a mixed commercial/residential establishment. The house was once the Branford Congregational Parsonage as well as the home of M.P. Rice, who operated a livery service there at the turn of the Twentieth Century. Acquired by the Giordanos around 1920, it has been home to many family members since then. Today it houses two residential apartments and the Marvin Window Showcase of Branford Building Supplies. |

| The restoration included the preservation of the original slate roof, wide plank pine floors, clapboard siding, and architectural details. The structure was underpinned, the building was brought up to code, and modern technological services were installed. The rear yard was regraded and landscaped, and a showcase deck designed by architect John Matthews was added to the rear of the house. | ||
