Now a Mecca for the active senior citizen community in Stratford, this is a building that, but for the value engineering efforts of Giordano, may well never have existed. |

| Originally advertised under the traditional design/bid/build methodology, pricing came in far higher than the Town of Stratford could afford. Later, as the low contracting bidder, Giordano was asked to value engineer the architect's design, without making serious changes to its form or function. As a result, enough savings were extracted to finally allow the project to move forward. | ||
