| Resurrecting the residential nature of the "City Point" neighborhood in New Haven is a primary and long-term goal of city planners. Joseph Badra, a developer from Washington D.C., recognized the potential of this city district and proceeded to collaborate with the city. This large-scale project drew upon not only the residential character of this area, but also the excellent waterfront attributes directly associated with it. The basic theme was to create an attractive living opportunity with renewed access to and enjoyment for all of one of New Haven's greatest assets, the waterfront. | ||

Included in the scope of the overall project was the Harbour Landing residential complex; the Oyster Point Marina, which included at the head of the state of the art recreational boat dock facility, a wonderful building that offered support services to both the boaters and the community at large; and, the founding facility for what has become one of the States premier Magnet High Schools The Sound School. |
