| On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Blackstone Memorial Library, its trustees elected to restore Branford's most exceptional architectural edifice and prepare it for the twenty-first century. Every pipe, wire, and duct in this Tennessee marble building was replaced. In the rotunda, new lighting fixtures illuminate decorative ceilings, which were cleaned as part of the effort to return this outstanding example of Neo-Classical Revivalism to its original condition. Now equipped to accommodate current technology and ease future transitions, this important piece of local history can be enjoyed for years to come. | ||
