One of two excellent hospitals serving the greater New Haven community, St Raphael’s, like its alter ego Yale New Haven, is continuously seeking new ways to improve the quality of service provided to its patients.

Notably, Giordano had the privilege to recreate the OB section and the newborn delivery rooms for a hospital that was once known primarily for its great care of the elderly. Additionally, the task of creating the in-patient dialysis treatment center for patients in need of this service was simultaneously fulfilled.

Today the roll of this hospital in nurturing the health of all in its community throughout the full course of their lifetime is its defining statement.
