EDUCATIONAL BUILDINGS

Yale University • New Haven, Connecticut

After decades of deferred maintenance, Yale's remarkable buildings are as vulnerable as any to the effects of age and the continued wear and tear of the heavy use they receive.  Yale’s governing body made the decision to spend one billion dollars over a ten-year period to restore all of its buildings to their previous glory, and build new what was necessary for Yale to carry its tradition of excellence far into the next century.

Such a sweeping undertaking has engaged many of Connecticut's core contractors as well as many major national construction managers.  Giordano's role in this resurrection has been multi-faceted.  Performance on extensive and highly complex infrastructure improvements as well as delicate restorations of many of the university's historic buildings are representative of the company's broad dimensions.
